Alexander Vinogradov was born on May 14, 1897, in St. Petersburg. He studied at the Russian Aviation Corps and obtained a license to operate the De Havilland biplane at a military school in Oxford on August 15, 1917. Unfortunately, he tragically died on September 6, 1917, during a flight in Wiltshire.
