Semyon Akimovich Kalistratov (1874, 1966) was a Russian and Soviet architect. In the late 1940s, he returned to Novorossiysk, where he built a house on Shevchenko Street and lived there until the end of his days.

Kalistratov passed away on November 2, 1966. It is known that his funeral was organized at the expense of the city authorities. The architect's grave is under the care of the city’s cultural department. In the summer of 2019, it was renovated due to the dilapidation of the old monument. Kalistratov's relatives live in Moscow and often attend memorial evenings in Saratov, but have not yet visited Novorossiysk. Historians and activists monitor the condition of the grave, while city benefactors provide financial support for the preservation of his legacy.
