The church was built in 1835 with funds from court counselor Pyotr Andreyevich Arapov on the grounds of his estate. It was dedicated to Michael and had a cross-shaped layout. On three sides, to the north, south, and west, there were four-columned porticos, while to the east was a semicircular apse, equal in height to the church. In the center rose a round rotunda with a dome. A separate three-tiered bell tower stood, topped with a spire, featuring triangular pediments above the openings of the lower and upper tiers. Currently, many elements characteristic of classicism have been lost: the porticos, rotunda, spire, and pediments. However, remnants of frescoes have survived inside. A Orthodox parish is registered in the village, and the restoration of the bell tower has begun.
