Olga Dmitrievna Mendeleeva, in marriage Triorogova, was the daughter of a marriage with Feozva Nikitichna. She barely survived the revolutionary events of 1917 and, leaving her plundered Aryash estate, took her daughter Natasha first to Penza and then to Moscow. Some authors mention that, leaving the estate, Olga Ivanovna angrily threatened the new 'owners' with serious revenge. These threats were not empty, as by that time Olga Dmitrievna was acquainted with one of the leaders of the proletarian revolution, F. E. Dzerzhinsky. 'Iron Felix' valued her not only for her background but also for her skills in dog breeding, which later helped her secure a position as a consultant at the kennel for service dogs of the Cheka, OPTU in Moscow. However, she never took the opportunity to take revenge on the Aryash rioters, although she did not forgive the offense until her death in 1950. In the history of Mendeleev studies, Olga Dmitrievna is remembered as the author of remarkable memoirs. In 1947, her memoir book 'Mendeleev and His Family' was published. She passed away in Moscow in 1950.
