On April 26, 1998, the Memorial Museum named after Ivan Pavlovich Morozov was opened in the village of Mezhador, Sysolsky District, Republic of Komi. The creation of the museum in the homeland of the famous political and state figure became possible thanks to the support of the government of the Republic of Komi, the republican public fund named after I. P. Morozov, the administration of Sysolsky District, as well as his relatives and associates.

In the museum, you can see photographs, documents, personal belongings of the Morozov family, as well as memories from locals about their work and meetings with Ivan Pavlovich. Both adults and children come for excursions, the opening of new exhibitions, and local history hours. Special attention is given to the museum by visitors who personally knew Ivan Pavlovich, and it has become a tradition to gather in the memorial hall on his birthday and on the day of remembrance.

On April 20, 2018, the memorial museum celebrated its 20th anniversary. In honor of this event, a new temporary exhibition titled "Self-Portrait Against the Symbols of the Era: Nikolai Viktorovich Morozov" was opened, dedicated to another remarkable fate of a native of the village of Mezhador, Nikolai Viktorovich Morozov. His life was closely linked to the era of the Soviet Union, and the talented engineer and scientist N. V. Morozov participated in the implementation of significant projects and symbols of that era. Both Morozovs are iconic figures in the region and outstanding personalities who are distant relatives. The solemn opening was attended by the relatives of Ivan Pavlovich and Nikolai Viktorovich Morozov, participants in the opening of the branch, leaders of the republic and district, creative teams, and residents of the village.

Several times a year, new exhibitions are organized at the memorial museum, along with various events and campaigns, excursions, and educational programs for children and adults.
