In 2016, a memorial plaque was installed in Belgrade on the street named after the famous Russian architect Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov, dedicated to his memory. Representatives from the governments of both countries attended the ceremony. During his 19 years in Serbia, Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov truly became a part of this country, and at the end of his life, he signed as Nikola Krasnov. Serbs highly appreciate his significant contribution to the development of the country and his remarkable architectural projects, which brought a fresh perspective to Belgrade, devastated after the war.
