Temeriny Manufactory

Фото 1
The old two-story brick building, located next to the park and the ancient Temeriny mansion, attracts attention with its antiquity. The windows on the first floor, now bricked up, have low arched lintels, and beneath them, one can notice the "porebrik," characteristic of very old buildings.

This is the only surviving building of the Temeriny linen factory, opened in Pereslavl in 1781. In the past, they produced "revenduks, Flemish cloths, various calicoes, and yarns." By the early 19th century, the Temeriny family was one of the wealthiest and most respected in the city.

However, a century later, in the 1920s, most of the factory buildings were dismantled as unnecessary, with the exception of one section.
