Фото 1
In the 1860s, a building was erected at the upper part of Moskovskaya Street, which became the property of merchants Veniamin and Alexander Budylins in 1909. It quickly gained fame as one of the most popular grocery stores in the city. A wide range of products and alcoholic beverages were always offered here: Bordeaux, Rhine, Hungarian, sherry, Madeira, port wine, and other natural wines from the trading house 'Feik i K'. The store also sold fruit waters, lemonade, Seltzer water, and the refreshing drink 'Sitro', produced by the Penza factory of A.V. Andronov. To this day, this building is popularly referred to as 'Budylin'.
