The A. S. Pushkin Literary Museum in Vilnius, founded in 1949, is located in the former estate of the poet's son G. A. Pushkin and his wife V. A. Pushkina in the Markučiai district at Subačiaus Street 124. The museum is open to visitors on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM. The museum complex includes the former residential house, a park with ponds covering 18 hectares, the Chapel of St. Barbara, and a small family cemetery. There is also a monument to the poet, relocated in 1992, created by sculptor B. Višniauskas and architects A. and V. Nasvitis. The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of A. S. Pushkin, his influence on Lithuanian culture, the history of translations of his works into Lithuanian, and theatrical productions of his works in Lithuania. The museum also features household items, manuscripts, books, photographs, drawings, and paintings related to G. A. and V. A. Pushkin.
