The Labinsk Museum of History and Local Lore named after F. I. Moiseenko is a municipal institution in the Krasnodar Krai. It was established in September 1991 based on materials from the public museum at the Vodindustriya club. The museum in Labinsk was named after Fyodor Ivanovich Moiseenko, who dedicated his life to preserving the history of the Labinsk region.

Fyodor Moiseenko, working as a history teacher at secondary school No. 9, became one of the founders of museum work in the city. In 1991, thanks to the efforts of a group of war veterans, the city museum was opened in an old building at 20 Sovetskaya Street.

The museum is engaged in the collection, storage, study, and popularization of collections related to natural history, material and spiritual culture. Over nearly 30 years, the museum's fund has increased from 1,800 to over 24,500 items. Currently, the museum has 2 exhibition halls and 6 display rooms dedicated to archaeology, nature, pre-revolutionary history, Cossack huts, the revolution and Civil War, the establishment of Soviet power, the Great Patriotic War, and the Hall of Combat Brotherhood. The museum is visited by 28,500 people annually, for whom tours and lectures are conducted. Scientific and educational work is provided by 4 research staff members.

In 2020, the museum's fund was replenished with 420 items, and by December 1, 2020, it had about 24,500 storage units.
