Red Lyaga, a vanished village in the Arkhangelsk region. In the mid-19th century, there were 30 households here, with a population of 191 people. The village had a karst lake that eventually disappeared, leading residents to dismantle their homes and leave the area.

The only remaining structure is the Sretensko-Mikhailovskaya Church, built in 1655. This temple features rare architecture and is the only preserved monument of its kind in Poonezhye. It is an octagonal tent-like church adorned with ornamental friezes, decorative belts, and window frames. Four carved columns support the porch awning, which is currently undergoing conservation. The tent is covered with wooden shingles.

In 2011-2012, activists from the 'Common Cause' foundation arrived in Red Lyaga. They raised significant funds, allowing for essential conservation work to be carried out.

This enchanting place, with its solitary church in the middle of a field, is surrounded only by silence and forest.
