The museum was founded in 1982. Its exhibition is distributed across three halls. In the first hall, you can see materials that tell about the pre-revolutionary life of the village, as well as the life and social-literary activities of A. N. Radishchev and D. V. Davydov. Here, the interior of a peasant's hut is recreated, and tools and items of peasant life are presented.
The second hall features an exhibition dedicated to the period of the establishment of Soviet power in the villages of the district, the Civil War, collectivization, as well as the history of special settlers and the repressed. Materials about participants in the Great Patriotic War are also collected here.
The third hall is used for exhibitions.
