The city of Kstovo, the youngest in the Kstovo district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, is known for its history, culture, and achievements. You can learn about them by visiting the local historical and local history museum.
The Kstovo Historical and Local History Museum was established in 2000 based on the Center for Folk Culture "Bereginya." Initially, the museum did not have its own premises for exhibits. Later, it was included in the regional program "Development of Social and Engineering Infrastructure for 2007," which allowed it to obtain a renovated library building.
For the 50th anniversary of the city of Kstovo, the museum opened its doors to visitors. In its exhibitions, you can learn about the history of the city and see ancient household items of local residents. The museum halls feature Russian state symbols, information about the labor dynasties of Kstovo residents, and much more.
In 2009, the museum was awarded a diploma from the Zemsky Assembly "Leader of the Year." Today, it serves as a center for local history and patriotic work. Group activities with children, lessons of courage, workshops, intergenerational meetings, and other events are held here.
