Korymylova Tower, a round tower of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, is located in the elevated part between the Nikolskaya and Taynitskaya towers. When viewed from the opposite side of the Zeleny Syezd, one can notice that the tower with its adjacent walls resembles a woman with a yoke.

The tower stands out as it is entirely built of white stone, including its interior. It has best preserved its original appearance among all the round towers of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

Like other towers of the Kremlin, Korymylova has four combat tiers. The lower tier, now filled with soil, was equipped with combat windows at a height of 30-40 centimeters from the ground, allowing fire to be directed for the protection of the moat. The two middle tiers had combat platforms for small-caliber firearms, and from 1622 to 1663, a copper gun on wheels was mounted on the tower. The upper tier served as a combat platform with embrasures and battlements. Additional combat chambers were arranged within the fortress walls adjacent to the tower. The embrasures were arranged in a fan shape, reducing dead space that was inaccessible for fire. Two embrasures fired along the walls, while one chamber was directed to flank the enemy. There are two entrances to the tower: the lower one in the wall to the left of the tower and the upper one from the combat platform. The stretch between the Korymylova and Taynitskaya towers, measuring 205 meters, is the longest in the Kremlin. The steep slope complicated the assault, and the builders reinforced it with walls. In the 19th century, the slope was turned into a park. The lower part of the stretch and the tower are made of white limestone for strength, while the rest of the walls are made of dark-brown brick.

In the 18th century, the tower tilted due to soil erosion. The danger of collapse was eliminated in the 19th century by reinforcing the slope of the ravine. Until 1886, the tower housed an archive. During the restoration in 1965, the ceilings of the upper tier and the tent roof were restored.
