The name 'Goto Predestination' sounds unusual to the Russian ear, as it is a combination of Latin and German. It translates to 'Divine Foreknowledge.' The Voronezh ship is a replica of a battleship from the time of Peter the Great. The museum ship was built in 2011 and 2014 and is docked at Admiralty Square.

The creation of the vessel was made possible by the initiative of the city's public art council. It was there, on December 16, 2009, that the decision was made to construct the sailing ship based on historical documents. The development of the blueprints began in 2010, but the process was complicated due to a lack of original materials. Artistic images from paintings and engravings of the 18th century were used to create the blueprints, and the project was based on a watercolor by P. Bergman.

The grand opening of the 'Goto Predestination' battleship took place on Navy Day in 2014. The battleship took its place at the pier, where it remains today.

The exhibition of the museum ship includes 733 historical items, among which are household items of 18th-century sailors. Visitors can see coins, weapons, dishes, kitchen utensils, and much more. Traditional sailor costumes are also displayed on wax figures.

Due to the specific location of the museum on the water, it is impossible to exhibit originals, so visitors are offered exact copies of the exhibits.
