Konyshevsky Local History Museum

The museum was founded on September 22, 1995, and opened its doors on May 9, 1996. In 2005, it became part of the Kursk Regional Local History Museum. Its collections hold over three thousand exhibits, and the exhibition area is 70 square meters. The museum's exhibition covers the history of the Konyshevsk land from ancient times to the present.

Among the exhibition complexes, one can highlight "Archaeological Finds," "Items of Peasant Life from the 19th and Early 20th Centuries," "Currency Notes," as well as materials dedicated to the liberation of the Konyshevsky District from German-Fascist invaders in February 1943. The names of such figures as writers V. A. Volzhin, L. G. Nalivayko, N. I. Grebnev, librettist V. F. Shirkov, and artists N. V. Ilyin and A. N. Gorbachev are associated with the Konyshevsk land. The museum receives about 5,000 visitors annually.
