At the turn of the 20th century, a conspiratorial apartment of the Tomsk social democrats was located in the house at the former Akimovskaya Street 23. In 1899, an illegal May Day meeting was held here, gathering about 30 workers and students. This was one of the first May Day celebrations in the history of the revolutionary movement in Siberia. The participants discussed the development of the labor movement in Russia and Siberia, debating a report on the topic "The Significance of May 1 for the Working Class." This celebration played an important role in educating workers and developing the revolutionary movement. The house is a single-story wooden structure of rectangular shape with a gable roof, clad in boards resembling stone masonry. The facade features four windows with shutters, while the courtyard side has three windows and an entrance with a porch. Gates adjoin the house.
