On June 24, 2022, in the village of Nizhny Shibryai, Borisoglebsky district of Tambov province, the leader of the Tambov Uprising, Alexander Stepanovich Antonov, and his brother Dmitry Stepanovich were detained. Their death marked the end of the Tambov Uprising.
