In 1901, the wedding of Peter Alexandrovich of Oldenburg and Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna Romanova, sister of Nicholas II, took place. They acquired an estate that was later named 'Olghino'.

According to various sources, the estate originally belonged to either the Charykovs or the Alexeyevs. Reconstruction of the Main House began, with a project developed by architect G.V. Voynevich, and artist N.N. Rubtsov participated in the decoration. The service wing, Guest House, and outbuildings were constructed according to the design of S.S. Krichinsky with the involvement of artist S.V. Chekhonin. The construction of the 'new' estate continued from 1902 to 1907.

During the Great Patriotic War, a shell hit the Main House, and in 1959, a district hospital building was erected on its foundation. The service wing housed the maternity department, new buildings were constructed, and various statues and a fountain were added.

In 2007, the hospital moved to modern buildings, and since then, the estate has remained vacant. A guard post is located in one of the service buildings, and the Guest House belongs to private owners, where people live. The estate is deteriorating before our eyes.
