The freestanding tented bell tower of the warm Vladimir Church was built simultaneously with it and was modeled after the bell tower of the Sophia Cathedral.

Its structure consists of a low square base with entrance arches, on which an octagonal pillar is installed, topped with a ringing tier with open arches. The proportions of the square base, octagon, and tent correspond to the golden ratio. The corners of the bell tower's square base are adorned with pilasters and a belt of wide strips with polychrome tiles, which are partially lost. The octagonal pillar with pilasters is decorated at the bottom with a niche featuring a tile ornament, while the ringing tier has archivolts with a pointed top. The bell tower housed 14 bells, the largest of which weighed 200 poods. On the upper part of this bell, there is an inscription: "In the year 7193 this bell was cast for Vologda for the church of the Most Holy Theotokos of Vladimir by the order and spiritual guest Gavrila Martynov, son of Fetiev, for the eternal remembrance of his soul, weighing two hundred poods." At the lower edge of the bell, there is another inscription: "Albert Benningk me fecit Lubeck, anno 1685." The tall tent of the bell tower is topped with a small dome and pierced with sound windows decorated with kokoshniks.
