Spasskoye on the Korožichna. The Spasskaya Church, located on the Korožichna River, is a stone parish church that operates both in summer and winter. It has two altars: the summer one is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord, and the winter one to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. According to the church foundation charter, the church was built in 1776 with funds from the parishioners. The same charter indicates that the previous wooden church was dismantled and burned, and a new stone one was erected in a different location, where it remains in its original form. The location and duration of existence of the old wooden church are unknown.

One and a half versts from the Spasskaya Church is another church, affiliated with it, located in the village of Burmasovo. It is also a stone church, with a bell tower, and is unheated. It has one altar dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord. The church was built in 1794 by General Yevgeny Kashkin, who was previously the governor of Yaroslavl, Vologda, and Kostroma. Among the holy icons in the Spasskaya Church, the image of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker is especially venerated. In the church of the village of Burmasovo, there is a family icon of the Kazan Mother of God from the Kashkin generals' house, which is kept in the Spasskaya Church for most of the year.

The Spasskaya Church has 58 desyatins and 931 square sazhens of land. A church house is provided for the priest's residence. The church capital amounts to 900 rubles in bonds. In the village of Spasskoye, there are 100 men and 137 women; in total, the parish, which includes 21 villages, has 1,245 men and 1,459 women. The distance from the villages to the parish church varies from half a verst to 5 versts.

The village of Spasskoye is located on the slope of a mountain by the Korožichna River. In the Spasskoye parish, there are two single-class church schools: one in the village of Spasskoye itself and the other in the village of Bol'shoye-Ilyinskoye. The clergy staff includes a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. The parish capital in securities amounts to 2,505 rubles.
