The new bell tower of the Zilantov Monastery rises above the city, shining with golden domes like a lighthouse. Its light is visible from several kilometers away, and from the end of Chistopolskaya Street, it resembles the Admiralty Needle in St. Petersburg on Nevsky Prospect. The bell tower was built in 2004, and today it rings with bells made by Donetsk craftsmen. The largest bell weighs almost seven and a half tons and stands out with its massive appearance. The bell tower also serves as the holy gates of the monastery. On the second floor, in 2006, a chapel was equipped and consecrated in honor of the Archangel Michael and all heavenly powers.
