The Church of the Nativity of Christ is a sturdy stone building with three altars: a summer altar in honor of the Nativity of Christ and a winter altar with two chapels, the right dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker of Myra and the left in honor of Saint Alexius, Metropolitan of Moscow the Wonderworker. The church was built in 1790 with funds from the parishioners.

The church icon of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in the right chapel is particularly revered and is ancient.

The church lands cover 36 desyatins and 1480 square fathoms.

There are four wooden houses covered with shingles for the priest, the psalmist, as well as for the church watchman and for rent.

The church's endowment amounts to 7459 rubles and 32 kopecks.

The parish has 711 men and 949 women living in the village of Koza and surrounding villages such as Zakopynye, Maloye Krasnoye, Shestovka, Rubezhenka, Grigorovo, Zarechnoye, Sorokopudka, Andreyevskaya, Vysokovo, Mitino, Stepanikha, Ramenskoye, Perehozhevo, Mantsevo, Pereshenka, Lesnikovo, Kholm, Kokuyka, Kuznetsovo, Podbolotnovo, Morozovo, Terebikhino, Sudook, and Krutsa.
