Bell Tower of the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Blagoveshchenie

A single-domed stone church, built in 1800 along with the bell tower, was attached to the village of Novoye in 1832 due to the small number of parishioners. However, in 1834, thanks to a donation of 7500 rubles from Mr. Lupanin, the parish was restored. The modern church, erected with funds from Mr. Potulov, has three altars: in the cold part, in the name of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, and in the warm part, in the name of Archangel Michael and the holy elders Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves, the miracle workers.

As for the origin of the Blagoveshchensky burial site, there used to be the Blagoveshchensky Monastery at this location.

The Blagoveshchensky church has 90 desyatins of land, and the parish includes 4 villages. The church is surrounded by an earthen fence, which is a mound or rampart with a ditch on the outside. This fence was built by local peasant parishioners due to a lack of funds for a stone one. All the church land of the burial site, totaling 90 desyatins, was inherited from the Blagoveshchensky Monastery and is located in one place, in one plan. This plot includes two wastelands or dachas, Ivanzevo and Bakshieha, likely named after the surnames of the landowners who donated their estates to the Blagoveshchensky wilderness.
