Later, a stone bell tower was erected next to the main church. In Bartenev's inventory, a "wooden bell tower, attached" to the church is mentioned. The bell tower is located away from the main axis of the church and is separated from it by a porch. Although the exact date of its construction is unknown, its forms resemble the tent-like bell towers of the 17th century and are similar to the bell tower of the Church of Nicholas on Pyzhy in Moscow, but it also has its unique features.

The bell tower consists of three tiers of square bases, which rest on a massive white stone plinth and are separated by belts. At the corners, there are wide pilasters divided into three tiers by brick details of bases and capitals. The tiers are illuminated by windows with profiled brick surrounds. On the southern side of the second tier, there is a paired window with a rich surround.

The octagonal tent is supported by eight columns connected by arches with complex profiles. The tops of the arches are split. On the faces of the tent, along the axes of the arches, there are sound windows in the form of arched openings framed by triangular pediments that rest on miniature pilasters. At the top of the tent, there is a brick octagonal neck, on which a bulbous dome is placed. The support columns are divided by vertical slots into three parts, visually enhancing their load-bearing capacity.
