The Cemetery of Saint-Genèvieve-des-Bois is located on Leo-Lagrange Street in the city of Saint-Genèvieve-des-Bois, which is part of the Paris region of France.

This cemetery is predominantly Orthodox, although there are graves of representatives from other religious denominations. It was established thanks to the Russian Elderly Home, founded in April 1927 by Princess V. K. Meshcherskaya. Since 1927, residents of the Russian Home began to be regularly buried here, followed by Russian residents of Paris. By 1939, there were about 50 graves in the cemetery, and by 1952, their number reached around 2000. Among the emigrants buried here are Russian military personnel, members of the clergy, writers, artists, and performers. In total, about 15,000 Russians rest in 5220 graves, which allows it to be called 'Russian.' For many Russians, this place is a pilgrimage site.

On the cemetery grounds stands the Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God, construction of which began in April 1938, and its consecration took place on October 14, 1939, shortly after the start of World War II. The church was built according to the design of A. A. Benois in the style of the Pskov architectural school of the 15th-16th centuries. Architect Benois and his wife Margarita created the church frescoes. Albert Benois himself is also buried in this cemetery.

A monument to the participants of the White Movement is erected in the cemetery, which was raised by the efforts of the Gallipoli Society. It replicates a stone mound constructed in 1921 in the Greek city of Gallipoli.
