The barracks of the Azov Training Infantry Regiment, built between 1903 and 1905 in Azov, are a significant cultural heritage monument of the Rostov region. Until 1918, soldiers of the regiment were stationed here, but after the revolution, the building mostly stood empty and was subsequently requisitioned by the Soviet authorities. Currently, this building houses Azov Secondary School No. 3. For a long time, the building was in an emergency state and required major repairs in accordance with the requirements for architectural monuments. According to information from a user of our site, a complete renovation of this facility was carried out in 2022-2023.
