The Orthodox Kazan Church in Sea Cliff on Long Island, New York, was founded in 1942 by 35 Russian families of white émigrés. It is listed on the national register of historic places. Architect Boris Ivanovich Ryadov built it based on his garage and gifted it to the Russian community. The wall paintings were done by artist Vadim Chernov. The icons were donated by parishioners, including Grand Duchess Ksenia, Baroness O. Wrangel, the widow of singer M. V. Shalyapin, ballerina I. Baranova, and others. The architect defended the church from changes and improvements throughout his life, striving to preserve it in its original form. The church is built in a style characteristic of northern Russia in the 16th century, and the icons are created in the Byzantine style.

For a long time, Father Leonid Kishkovsky served as the rector.

Among the parishioners of the church is Nikolai Sluchevsky, the great-grandson of the famous Russian reformer P.A. Stolypin.
