Oleg Cassini (real name Oleg Alexandrovich Loievsky) was also very popular, dressing major stars from Marilyn Monroe to the First Lady of the USA, Jacqueline Kennedy. He was born in Paris in 1913 to a Russian diplomat, Alexander Loievsky, and Countess Margarita Cassini. After the revolution, the family decided to stay abroad, where the future designer's career began. Oleg Alexandrovich graduated from the Academy of Arts in Florence and later opened his first boutique. He won several international competitions and received an invitation to work as a costume designer in Hollywood.

Cassini always aimed to emphasize the femininity of his clients and claimed that one should not interfere with the anatomy of the female body. He had a talent for selecting outfits for actresses so that they looked perfect on screen. However, his main model became Jacqueline Kennedy. Considering her tastes and wishes, Oleg Alexandrovich created a unique style for her.

Jacqueline preferred dresses and gloves, while Cassini complemented her looks with elegant hats. "I dressed Jackie as if she were a star of a major film, and she became the most famous First Lady of all time," noted Oleg Alexandrovich. He created nearly 300 outfits for her, and the white satin dress from 1961 was recognized by the Design Museum in England as one of the 50 outfits that changed world fashion.

Later, Cassini developed his own line of wedding dresses and men's suits, collaborating with American television studios. His outfits were exhibited multiple times at the Metropolitan Museum, one of the most famous art museums in the world. Oleg Alexandrovich lived a vibrant and fulfilling life and passed away in March 2006.
