Slava Zaitsev's Art Gallery in Kazan

Фото 1
The gallery was founded in June 2016 by Vyacheslav Evgenievich Zaitsev. Initially, it was located in the shopping center "Respublika," and in January 2018, it moved to "GUM" on Bauman Street. Since 2019, the gallery has been situated in the Center for Contemporary Culture "Smena" on Burkhan Shakhidi Street.

The gallery covers an area of 126 square meters, combining an exhibition space featuring over 100 works and the artist's personal studio. Here, Slava Zaitsev creates his paintings and interacts with visitors. The unique aspect of the gallery's concept lies in the author's approach: "Any object can become 'paint' for the artist." The paintings are made from unconventional materials such as pieces of magazine pages, paper clips, and sand.
