The Kamensky Local History Museum was opened on May 6, 2010, and since 2015 has become an independent legal entity. Its founder is the administration of the Kamensky municipal district of the Voronezh region through the culture department.

The museum houses printed and handwritten materials on the history of the district, exhibits, paintings, photographs, books, documents, and antique items. All of this is displayed in three halls, where visitors can learn about the rich history of the region from ancient times to the present day.

The first hall of the museum is dedicated to the Soviet period. Here, one can see banners, pennants, photographs, and documents of Komsomol and Pioneer organizations, awards of former leaders of agricultural enterprises, as well as collections of cameras, televisions, and telephones. The exhibition tells about the activities of enterprises and organizations in the settlement and district, their achievements, and the products they produced. Religious-themed items, such as icons and church books, are also presented here.

The second hall of the museum is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. Here, personal belongings of front-line soldiers, their awards, documents, fragments of weapons from that time, leaflets, and posters are displayed. One can also see portraits of Heroes of the Soviet Union, war participants, and honored fellow countrymen.

The third hall offers an overview of household items from past and modern years, such as musical and carpentry tools, clothing, household items, and utensils. Cultural and artistic items are also presented here, including books, poetry collections, and stands with photographs.

The residents of the settlement actively contribute to the museum's collection with new exhibits. Museum staff engage in scientific research and provide methodological assistance in providing local history materials to the residents of the settlement and district.
