Utenkov's House from Usty-Kirva in Vitoslavlitsy

Фото 1
The house of Fyodor Mikhailovich Utenkov was located in the village of Usty-Kirovskoye in the Pestovsky district, on the banks of the Kirva River, where it flows into the Mologa. The house was situated on the right side of the street leading to the Mologa River and survived almost by a miracle, avoiding demolition.

In 1967, the last owner, Klavdiya Alexandrovna, sold the house to the children of neighbors living in Leningrad. The new owners forgot about the house and did not visit the village, which led to the building being abandoned and falling into disrepair.

In the 1980s, the house was sold again with the intention of dismantling it for firewood. By the time it was acquired by the museum, it was in an emergency state. The house was built in the 1870s-1880s.
