Tatiana Pavlovna Ivanova (German: Tatjana Iwanow) was born on May 14, 1925, in Berlin, Germany, and passed away on October 6, 1979, in Hamburg. She was a German actress and singer with Russian roots. Her work reflected elements of old Russian culture, while also preserving vocal and stage techniques from the pre-revolutionary 'old stage.'

Tatiana was born in Charlottenburg, the western part of Berlin, where her parents moved after the 1917 revolution in Russia. Before that, the family lived in St. Petersburg on Vasilievsky Island. Her father, Pavel Dmitrievich Ivanov, was a White Army officer, and her mother, Elena Ion, was an opera singer.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Tatiana Ivanova shone on the stages of many European theaters and appeared in several films. She rightfully earned the title 'First Lady of the Musical.' Among her famous roles was the title part in the musical 'Hello, Dolly!', which she performed over 400 times, gaining recognition beyond Germany. She spent several years in Australia, where she also successfully performed in musicals. Upon returning to Germany, she continued her career in film and theater. Together with Ivan Rebroff, she recorded several albums of Russian songs and romances.

Tatiana Ivanova was married three times, and from her first marriage, she had a son, Andreas.

She died of breast cancer at the University Hospital Eppendorf in Hamburg. Her ashes were buried in the family grave next to her mother, father, as well as her grandfather Friedrich Fyodorovich Ion and grandmother Anna Ivanovna Ion (Holm) at the Russian Orthodox cemetery of the Holy Prince Vladimir Brotherhood in Tegel, the western part of Berlin.
