The historical park 'Russia, My History' stands out by offering a panoramic presentation of Russian history using modern technologies. Here, one can see hundreds of multimedia devices, cinema halls, interactive 3D media, multimedia maps, a dome with video projection, interactive panoramas and decorations, as well as hundreds of meters of 'living history'.

On November 4, 2017, the historical park 'Russia, My History' was opened in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The park building is located next to the Church of the Nativity of Christ and within walking distance from the Museum-Memorial Complex 'Victory', forming a unified architectural ensemble.

The total area of the park is about 7000 sq. m, of which 4055 sq. m is allocated for exhibitions. The building includes a conference hall and a lecture hall. Thanks to modern equipment, the park is one of the most technologically equipped facilities in the region. It houses the only 12-meter dome cinema in Sakhalin.

The historical park has become part of the educational cluster of the region and a place for studying the history of the country. Four multimedia exhibitions are particularly popular: 'Rurikids', 'Romanovs', '1914, 1945: From Great Upheavals to Great Victory', and 'Russia, My History: 1945, 2016'.

The park also features a regional local history component developed by employees of Sakhalin museums, the regional universal scientific library, and the state historical archive of the region.

Visitors to the park can familiarize themselves with unique content and the history of the island region, starting from the time Russian Cossack detachments reached the mouth of the Amur River during the reign of the first tsar from the Romanov dynasty, Mikhail Fedorovich.

The Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk historical park has become a venue for preparing for the Unified State Exam in Russian history for 11th-grade graduates and the Basic State Exam for 9th-grade graduates of Sakhalin schools. Students actively use information from the exhibitions to prepare for their exams.
