On October 19, 2017, the historical park 'Russia, My History' opened in Yakutsk.

On February 10, 2018, the park welcomed its 50,000th visitor, who was Nadezhda Feofanova, an employee of the State Theater of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North.

The park's director, Dmitry Solovyev, noted that the park's attendance in Yakutsk surpasses that of similar parks in some million-plus cities, indicating a high interest among residents and guests of the region in the history of their country and land. He presented a souvenir to the milestone visitor.

In the park, everyone can feel a connection to over a thousand years of homeland history. It features a variety of informational media: touch tables and screens, panoramic cinemas, lightboxes, projectors, and virtual books. The exhibition utilizes video infographics, animation, 3D modeling, and digital reconstructions.

In 24 out of 58 halls, the intertwining history of Russia and Yakutia is showcased through video projection collages. Visitors can learn about more than 100 historical events and facts from the republic's history, as well as outstanding figures from Yakutia and their quotes. Multimedia books tell the stories of Yakutia's symbols, its role in the development of the Far East, and the epic of Olonkho. There is also a quiz to test knowledge of Yakutia's history. An exhibition dedicated to the modern history of the region is planned to open in 2019.

The park in Yakutsk became the first project beyond the Urals and the first in the Far Eastern Federal District.

At the park's opening, the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, emphasized the significance of the site for the region: 'This is an important event. A people who remember their history and honor the memory of their ancestors can overcome any difficulties and look confidently into the future. We have much to remember and be proud of.'

The multimedia historical park 'Russia, My History' in Yakutsk can be considered a large interactive textbook on the history of Russia and Yakutia.
