The art gallery 'Doll House' under the direction of Tatyana Kalinina opened on June 28, 1999, and has become a unique phenomenon in the cultural life of both Karelia and all of Russia.
The foundation of the gallery is a collection of author dolls created by Tatyana Kalinina herself. In addition, it features works by professional artists in various fields of visual arts, such as painting, graphics, sculpture, author dolls, decorative and applied arts, and photography.
The permanent exhibition of the gallery includes a doll exhibition by Tatyana Kalinina titled 'Spirits of Karelia or Kizhi Domovoi.'
This collection has been created since 1992 and reflects the artist's unique perception, which is evident in the appearance and characters of her dolls. Each master creating dolls seems to play with them, and in the process of this play, new characters emerge, such as the ship's, diviki, and topuriki.
