The complex of rural parish churches is a remarkable example of the combination of ancient Russian architecture with elements of Baroque and Classicism. The Resurrection Church and the freestanding bell tower were likely built in the first half of the 18th century, and in the late 19th century, they were connected by a closed porch. The Elijah Church was built in 1820. The fence surrounding the churches has not survived. Each church had two chapels: the Resurrection Church had the chapels of the Protection and Sergius of Radonezh, while the Elijah Church had the chapels of All Saints and Nicholas the Wonderworker. The complex is located on top of a high hill that dominates the area. The bell tower serves as the vertical dominant of the ensemble and is visible from afar. The Resurrection Church is located about 10 meters to the east, but not strictly aligned with the bell tower, rather at a slight angle. At a higher spot to the northeast is the Church of the Prophet Elijah. All buildings are made of brick and covered with plaster.

The bell tower, dated to the first half of the 18th century, is one of the best examples of tent structures in the Soligalich region. Its upward-reaching composition includes a low elongated lower tier, an octagonal pillar, and a tall tent with an onion dome on a cylindrical drum. The lower tier has three symmetrically placed arched openings. The central and northern openings served as gates and a wicket leading to the church grounds. The walls of the first tier are decorated with large square pilasters. The octagonal pillar is pierced by two narrow windows on the western side. The upper part, separated by a cornice with teeth, has arched openings for the bells on all sides, which cut into the base of the tent. The corners of the pillar are covered with pilasters extending to the full height. The tent, covered with sheet iron, is equipped with three rows of dormers with arched openings and gables. The first tier contains three isolated rooms with cylindrical vaults. The staircase to the upper tiers is located in the northern wall.
