In the 17th century, the village was part of the Chukhloma siege of the Galich district. In 1628, the church of the "Life-Giving Trinity" and the church of the "Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos" are mentioned in the burial ground in the Mirokhanovo volost. In November 1711, at the request of priest Ivan Matveev, permission was granted to consecrate the newly built church of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos and the chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker at the Vvedensky burial ground. In August 1720, priest Mikhail Ivanov, along with parishioners, reported to the patriarchal treasury that in the Chukhloma siege of the Mirokhanovo volost, a wooden church in the name of the Life-Giving Trinity had been built in the village of Troitskoye and was ready for consecration.

In the Troitskoye village of Mirokhanovo, there are two stone churches. The cold church, built in 1803 by the efforts of the parishioners, has one altar and is dedicated to the Life-Giving Trinity. The warm church with a stone bell tower, built in 1833, has three altars: in honor of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and the holy unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian. The fence around the churches is also made of stone. A cemetery is located near the church.

The village is located 185 versts from Kostroma and 15 versts from Chukhloma. The nearest churches are: the Nikolayevskaya in Ostrov at 5 versts, the Varvarinskaya in Pogost at 7 versts, and the Pokrovskaya in the village of Nozhkina at 8 versts.
