The Archangel's burial site, also known as Krasnoarmeyskoye, is located 11 versts from Shuya and 110 versts from Vladimir. In ancient times, there was a church dedicated to Archangel Michael, which gave the burial site its name. The Archangel church existed as early as the 16th century and is mentioned in the land books of 1629, compiled by Afanasy Vekov. They refer to the Archangel burial site on the Teza River in the Shuya district of Borisoglebsk volost, where there was a church of the Archangel Michael with an altar of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a wooden bell tower with three bells and a clapper, as well as church furnishings.

In the 18th century, in addition to the Archangel church, there was another wooden church at the burial site with an altar in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. By the end of the 18th century, both churches had fallen into disrepair, and the parishioners built stone replacements that have survived to this day. The bell tower and fence are also made of stone. The cold five-domed church was built in 1797 with one altar in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. The warm church, erected in 1784, has two altars: in honor of Archangel Michael and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. It is called the Trinity church. The church has a wooden watchman's hut on a stone foundation, covered with iron, built in 1889.

Church documents have been preserved in full, including copies of metric books from 1801 and confession lists from 1829. The clergy consists of a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist, receiving 1131 rubles per year. The clergy have their own houses on church land. The parish includes a burial site with 17 households and 16 villages. In total, the parish has 252 households, 844 men, and 930 women. Since 1882, a zemstvo public school has been operating at the burial site.
