The village has two churches: Leontievskaya and Mikhailovskaya, both built of stone and known for their durability. The Leontievskaya church has two altars: a summer one dedicated to St. Leontius, the Rostov Miracle Worker, and a winter one in honor of St. John of the Wilderness. It was originally erected in 1730, with the winter altar reconstructed in 1842 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. The Mikhailovskaya church, with a single altar in honor of the archangel Michael, is also stone and sturdy, built in 1800 by peasant Mikhail Vasilyevich Oreshnikov from the village of Zaykovo. The church land covers 82 desyatins and 1210 square fathoms. There are three wooden houses on the territory: for the priest, deacon, and church watchman, all of which are solid. The church capital amounts to 6856 rubles in securities. The parish includes 786 men and 899 women. The Leontievsky burial site with the church and the clergy houses is located on both sides of the Yukhoti River: the church is in the lowland, while the clergy houses are on the elevation. The parish has a Novoselskoye zemstvo school, a children's shelter, and a charitable home maintained by donations. There are two libraries: a zemstvo one at the Novoselskoye volost administration and a church-parish one at the Novoleontievskaya church. The clergy staff includes a priest, deacon, and psalmist, and the parish capital amounts to 7470 rubles in securities.
