The temple dedicated to the Introduction of the Virgin Mary was built in the 17th century by a landowner from Trubchevsk, whose name has not been preserved. It was located within the same enclosure as the Nativity of Christ temple, and both churches were served by one clergy. Over time, the church was repeatedly rebuilt, and its shape changed from elongated to cross-shaped. The church had three altars: the main one in honor of the Introduction of the Virgin Mary, the right side altar in honor of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, and the left side altar in the name of Great Martyr Theodore Stratilates.

During the Great Patriotic War, the church was almost completely destroyed and then dismantled. Now, a shopping center "Dubrava" is located on its site.

The Nativity of Christ church, small and made of stone, also had a cross-shaped form. It was built in 1823 with funds from Bryansk merchant Nekrasov, replacing an old wooden church. The hill on which it stood was called the Christmas Hill. A literacy school operated in the parish.

By the decision of the Bryansk district executive committee No. 21 dated November 17, 1929, the church was closed and repurposed as a dormitory for a medical college. This decision was confirmed by the resolution of the Western regional executive committee No. 811 dated January 11, 1930.

During the Great Patriotic War, the church was almost completely destroyed and then dismantled. Now, a shopping center "Dubrava" and a public toilet are located on its site.
