The church, consecrated in honor of the Conception of St. Anne, was built in 1786 in the village of Toplinka in the Belgorod district through the efforts of landowner Vyrodov. In the early 1950s, it was dismantled, and the bricks were used for the construction of a school. At one time, the Belgorod poet Alexander Konstantinovich Filatov and historian Alexander Nikolayevich Krupenkov taught at this school. In the mid-1980s, the village of Toplinka found itself in the flooding zone of the Belgorod reservoir, its residents were resettled, and the village and school were demolished.
