The building of the former Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the village of Storozhevsk in the Kortkerossky District of the Republic of Komi, Russia. It is situated in the western part of the village and is now used as a House of Culture.

The village of Storozhevsk is one of the oldest settlements in Komi. It is located 48 kilometers from the district center, Kortkeros, on a high bank of the Vychegda River. Here, national culture and the Komi language are preserved. The village has developed crafts such as weaving from willow, roots, and birch bark, as well as embroidery and weaving with national patterns. One of the tourist routes leads here.

In 1882, a wooden single-story church was built in the village, consecrated in honor of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The funds for the construction were raised by Orthodox believers. The foundation of the church was made of cobblestones. The church had two altars: a summer one dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ, and the main one, the Presentation altar, in the warm part of the building.

In the early 20th century, around 1912-1917, a new two-story brick church building was constructed in the village, consecrated just like the previous one. However, soon persecution of believers began, and the church building was confiscated, with all cult attributes removed. For a long time, it housed a House of Culture.

Currently, only part of the premises has been returned to the believers, while the rest of the building continues to be used as a House of Culture.
