The Kazan Temple of All Religions is a unique attraction. The term "temple" here is conditional, as this place is not used for religious services and does not have official religious status. It is a cultural monument that reflects the history of faith.

The creator of this original architectural symbol was artist and architect Ildar Khanov. Unfortunately, he did not manage to complete the construction, and at the final stage, his brother took over the project. This man was passionate about traveling in the East, studying India and Tibet, and was interested in Chinese medicine and various healing methods.

The idea of creating an International Cultural Center had long been in Khanov's mind, but for a long time, he could not find the opportunity to realize it. Inspired by the support of Roerich, the architect decided to bring his vision to life in Tatarstan, respecting its traditions. Currently, the construction of the temple continues, albeit slowly, and is funded by charitable donations. The structure combines elements from 16 world religions, including modern ones such as Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism, as well as extinct ones, such as the ancient Assyrian religion.

Khanov planned to create halls dedicated to Indian Vedas, Chinese Dao, Japanese Zen Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, as well as Indonesian, Egyptian, Maya, Iranian halls, halls for Rosicrucians and Freemasons, Protestantism, and even extraterrestrial intelligence.

The territory of the Universal Temple was also supposed to house an astronomical observatory, various children's schools with clubs, treatment and rehabilitation centers for drug and alcohol addicts, an orphanage, a nursing home, a small opera theater, an icon painting school, and other useful institutions.

Currently, the following have been created:

Egyptian Hall, a spacious room with white walls, decorated with carpets and stained glass.

Catholic Hall, a dark room with domed ceilings, strict columns, and semicircular windows.

Tea Room, a traditional room in old Russian style, where visitors can find a table, benches, and a hot samovar.

Hall of Jesus Christ, designed in Byzantine style, with stone and wood decor, reminiscent of the cave monastery of the first Christians.

Theater Hall, where solemn events and concerts take place. On sunny days, the room is flooded with light through large windows with arch elements in green.

Art Gallery, intended for exhibitions of artists from around the world.

The attraction consists of several buildings, each adorned with architectural elements characteristic of various religions. The structures are monumental and ornate, complemented by stained glass and symbols of different faiths, which can be seen on the domes and walls.

Several towers, built in different years, complement each other. Some of them still lack domes, as construction is ongoing. Khanov's followers are actively raising funds to complete the project, and anyone interested can contribute to the development of this unique structure.
