The Resurrection Church, also known as the Church of the Renewal of the Resurrection of Christ in Jerusalem, is located in the village of Dolbenkino in the Dmitrovsky District of the Oryol Region and serves as the monastery church of the Blessed Ksenia of Petersburg. It is a monument of architecture and urban planning of regional significance.

The history of the church begins in 1600, when a small wooden church was built in Dolbenkino. In 1781, a new wooden building was erected on its site, and in 1784, an iconostasis was installed. In 1804 and 1805, at the initiative of Prince Yakov Ivanovich Lobanov-Rostovsky, a stone building was constructed, completed in May 1805. However, the church remained small and cold.

In 1865, the priest Vasily Medvedev served in the church, who became the rural dean of the 3rd section of the Dmitrov deanery. In the same year, Georgy Slavsly, a student of the Oryol seminary, was ordained as a deacon of the Vasilyevsky Church in the village of Brasovo and later became a priest of the Resurrection Church.

The parish of the church included residents of Dolbenkino and neighboring villages such as Pogarishcha, Trubichena, and Chernyakovo. In 1877, the village of Chernyakovo was transferred to the parish of the Protection Church in the village of Razvetye.

In 1897 and 1898, with the support of Grand Duke Sergey Alexandrovich, the church building was expanded and thoroughly renovated, becoming warmer. The church housed an ancient icon of St. Tikhon of Amathus, with which an annual procession for the blessing of water was held on June 16. On this day, a market took place near the church, and from 1898, a fair was held. In October 1902, Priest Alexander Ilyinsky was appointed dean of the 3rd district of the Dmitrov County. In 1903, there were 1,190 men in the parish.

In 1907, the parish council raised funds to create a shrine for the icon of the Mother of God, assisted the poor, and distributed leaflets about the dangers of alcoholism. By 1914, the parish had 2,733 members, and by 1916, 2,747 members.

The church functioned until 1929, when its domes were removed, icons were smashed, and property was looted. Priest Fyodor and his family were evicted to Oryol. During the Soviet era, the building was attempted to be used as a club, but after an unsuccessful attempt to show a movie, it was designated as a grain storage facility. The church's metric books have not survived.

Restoration of the church began in 1989. Domes and bells were installed, and the altar, floors, walls, and windows were repaired. In 1992, the church was reopened and consecrated. In 1993, it was granted the status of a monument of architecture and urban planning of regional significance. The church has been partially restored, but the crowning drum and the upper tier of the bell tower have been lost.

On June 13, 2010, Archbishop Panteleimon of Oryol and Livny conducted a divine liturgy in the church, attended by nuns and the abbess of the women's monastery, as well as pilgrims from Oryol, Moscow, and Kursk regions. Today, the church serves as the monastery church of the Blessed Ksenia of Petersburg.
