The Resurrection of Christ Church in the village of Oktyabrsky was consecrated on May 24, 2003, by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol.

Until 1935, the village of Oktyabrsky was called Voskresenovka. In 1903, a stone Resurrection Church was built here, which was completely destroyed during the Soviet era.

Before 2003, the village had the Nikolsky Church, located in an adapted building. The new church in Oktyabrsky was built on May 24, 2003.

The modern Resurrection Church in the village of Oktyabrsky is a single-domed structure made of reinforced concrete slabs, built according to a standard design, with a multi-tiered bell tower.
