The Church of the Resurrection of Christ, noticeable from afar due to its impressive size, includes three altars: the Resurrection of Christ, Theodore Stratilates, and the Prophet Elijah. The altar consists of a complex multi-faceted structure on the eastern wall. The side walls of the main log cabin, the altar, and the refectory are built in a single line, which gives the building even greater monumentality.

The Church of the Resurrection has late wall cladding and an iron roof. Previously, an open staircase led to the second floor, and the current entrance through the basement was added during reconstruction. The completion of the church, resembling a dome, has begun to deteriorate in recent years, although the walls remain relatively straight.

Throughout its history, the monument has undergone two reconstructions. The last one took place in 1908, when the walls were clad with hewn stone on the outside, covered with canvas on the inside, the interior was painted, and the gilding on the iconostasis was renewed. Previously, there was another, lower porch, and the building was topped with a lost dome. The metal roof and the reconstruction of the entrance were completed earlier, in the mid or second half of the 19th century.

Currently, a parish community is active in Kozlovskaya, actively engaged in the restoration of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. In the summer of 2012, a service was held here for the first time in several decades.
