The Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Cheremoshno was built in 2012 on the site where the Nikolsky Church once stood, destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. In 1943, German troops destroyed the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker, located in this village.

The cornerstone of the new Church of the Resurrection of Christ was consecrated on March 31, 2012. Thanks to modern technologies, the construction was completed in a short time. On June 10, 2012, the day when the Church commemorates All Saints, Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated the new church in the village of Cheremoshno in the Belgorod region.

The church was built next to a mass grave, where 23 Soviet soldiers who fell in battles against the fascist invaders in 1943 are buried.
