The stone church with a single altar, built in the classical style, was completed in 1829. The main cubic volume of the building, topped with a massive light dome drum with a cupola, is complemented by a semicircular apse and a refectory with a three-tiered bell tower.

In the mid-20th century, the church was closed, and its cupolas were dismantled. In 1998, the building was included in the state register as a monument of regional significance. In 1999, the parish was re-registered, and the building underwent reconstruction, during which new cupolas were installed.
