Norino is a village located in the Zhiryatin district of the Bryansk region, part of the Vorobeynskoye rural settlement, 10 km west of the village of Vorobeynya. The first mention of Norino dates back to 1652, when it was known as a locality with the Trinity Church. In 1701, the Assumption Church is mentioned, the last building of which was erected in 1866.

The wooden church was closed and fell into disrepair in 1936. To this day, it has remained in a semi-ruined state.
